Pain in Lower Back

(1)    Crush a good quality betel nut. Put it in any vegetable oil and boil. Strain when cool down and massage affected area. This may cure back pain.

(2)   Boil water with ginger and pedalium murex (thorny shrub-GOKHRU) powder in equal part and drink strained water in the morning. It may help in back pain, rheumatism and also indigestion.

(3)   Boil water with fresh ginger roots and castor plant root powder and drink strained water about a cup in the morning. This may help in back pain.

(4)   If the cause of lower back pain was gas, then a kind of breathing exercise may help. An easy way of this exercise is: Exhale through mouth as much as possible. It may be done in instalments to empty lungs as much as possible. Keep the breath out as long as possible. Longer you keep the breath out more benefit you will have. Inhale through your nose when you are unable to keep breath out.
